ProCierge Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
ProCierge is a community app made by Roots N Remedies LLC. It helps neighbors connect, share and support each other. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who can use ProCierge
ProCierge is for adults 18 and over. Sign-up asks for your date of birth and stops anyone under 18. This version of ProCierge has no child accounts and no family sharing.
Information we collect
- Account information: your first and last name, email address and date of birth. We use the birth date to confirm you are 18 or over.
- What you post: posts, messages, photos, map pins and other content you create.
- Location: used to show your community on the map. Pins are placed on a coarse grid unless you choose a precise spot. Your location is never shown to the public.
- Photos: before a photo is published, it is checked for unsafe content (for example nudity or violence) by Google's Gemini service. Location data inside photos is removed before upload.
- Contacts (only if you allow it): to show which of your contacts already use ProCierge, each email address and phone number is turned into a code on your phone. Only those codes are sent to us to check for matches. Names are not sent, and the codes are not saved.
- Calendar (only if you allow it): your calendar events are shown inside the app. They stay on your phone and are not uploaded.
- Purchases: if you buy a membership on iPhone, Apple handles the payment. We receive a record of which membership you have and whether it is active, through RevenueCat (see below). We never see your card or Apple ID payment details.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, a crash report (device type, app version, what went wrong) is sent to Bugsnag so we can fix it.
- Notifications: if you turn on notifications, we store a device token so we can send them.
How we use your information
- To run the app: your community map, posts, messaging and memberships.
- To keep the community safe: screening photos, handling reports, blocking and enforcing our community standards.
- To answer support requests and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Memberships bought on iPhone
Memberships on iPhone (Resident, Business, and extra business locations) are monthly subscriptions sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase: RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt from Apple and an account ID that links it to your ProCierge account, and tells us which membership is active. You can manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and restore a purchase on the Membership screen.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers needed to run ProCierge, and only for that purpose:
| Provider | What for |
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage |
| Apple | In-App Purchase payments and push notifications |
| RevenueCat | Confirming iPhone memberships |
| Google (Gemini) | Screening photos for unsafe content before they are published |
| Bugsnag | Crash reports |
| Stripe | Payments made on the web (not on iPhone) |
We also share information when the law requires it. Content you post is visible to your community according to your settings.
Your choices
- Edit or delete your posts in the app.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). This removes your account and personal data. Some records may be kept where the law requires it, and posts you made on the community map stay but are no longer linked to you.
- Turn location, contacts, calendar and notifications on or off in your phone's Settings.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems, except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
